Shooting in Continuous (Burst) mode

- Out of the box, your camera's drive mode is set to shoot a single frame with each push of the shutter button. Notice it doesn't fire again until I press the button a second time. But there are many shooting situations where shooting a burst, essentially, several photos in a row, can be desirable. Perhaps it's the laughter of a child or a running athlete. Remember, card space is cheap, so cover your bases and get a few extra shots. To make this change is easy. Just press the left side of the control wheel, and this will bring up the Drive Mode. Now you can rotate the control wheel through the different options. Now, these icons will look a little bit different depending upon your version of the camera. On the first generation of cameras, the icon that looks like stacked up rectangles is Continuous Shooting mode. The icon that looks the same but with an S in the middle of the stack is the Speed Priority Continuous Shooting mode, which allows for an even faster burst rate, typically…
