Changing aperture
- The first feature that I want to change on the camera for this shot is the aperture. Now, I'm gonna work in aperture priority mode, which means I can set the aperture wherever I want, and everything else is gonna happen automatically. The shutter speed and the ISO will both change automatically based off of whatever aperture I choose. Now, I'm gonna take a picture of my friend Holly here and the idea behind changing aperture is that I will change how much is in focus behind her. We'll have a very shallow depth of field and a very large depth of field. Now because we're in high noon here, the sun is really awful, so I've asked my friend Brittany to step in with the diffusion panel to soften the light that's hitting Holly's face. Now this is a great tool. As you can see with this, go ahead and pop it out there.
