Bass Harbor review

- I had decided to photograph the Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse at sunrise, and since I was standing a fair distance away, needed to get up very early, so I arrived before the sun had even come up over the horizon. I thought that was going to be a good thing, but that turned out to be unnecessary because the light of the sunrise didn't actually get onto the lighthouse until about an hour after sunrise, so I was down there at low tide and that afforded me a very interesting vantage point. I was able to get down much lower than I, otherwise, would've been able at high tide. Unfortunately, it also meant that there were many mosquitoes and I was getting bit quite a lot, but I was able to get a photograph. At the time, I thought it was okay, and I realized that I really needed to get some light onto the lighthouse, but I had made the commitment to be there, so I was going to wait around for the light, and I ended up having to wait quite a long time.
