Join Chris Orwig for an in-depth discussion in this video Using the HSL controls for precise color control, part of Photoshop CC for Photographers: Camera Raw 9.
- In this movie, we will be navigating away…from the Basic panel over to the HSL panel…in order to take a look at how we can…fine-tune and change colors in our photographs.…All right, well, let's jump over to the HSL panel.…You can find it right here, it's the fourth tab over.…When you click on that tab, you'll notice…you have some new controls here.…We're gonna start off by working with this demo file…because it will illustrate really well…how these controls work.…And let's start with the Saturation tab.…You'll notice that we have sliders…in order to affect the different areas of the photograph.…
For example, if we wanna remove color…from different areas, we can drag these values down.…And here you can see how we're bringing…all of these colors down.…If we wanna bring one of the Saturation values up,…we can do so by clicking and dragging…on any of these sliders.…If you wanna reset all these values…to their default settings, just click on Default…and it will bring everything back to normal.…Well, that's Saturation.…
