Join Chris Orwig for an in-depth discussion in this video Challenge: Crafting a look with filters, part of Adobe Camera Raw: Making Selective Adjustments.
- This isn't going to be the easiest challenge,…but I think you'll enjoy it.…For this challenge, what I would like you to try to do…is to combine some of the skills that you've learned…over the last few chapters.…For this one, I want you to start off by making…two graduated filter adjustments…in order to even out the tonality of the image.…And here's what I mean.…I want you to make one adjustment…on this side of the frame…in order to darken this up and add a bit more blue…to that area.…I want you to make a second graduated filter adjustment…to this side of the frame…in order to brighten up the shadows just a touch…again to try to even out the overall tone in the image…and also add a bit more blue to that area as well.…
Then, after you've done that,…I want you to work with the radial filter.…With the radial filter, I want you to…create an adjustment which fills up the entire frame…and just darkens the edges and creates a bit of a…vignette effect.…I would give yourself about five or seven minutes…for this challenge.…
