- [Voiceover] Hi, and welcome to the Adobe Camera Raw Essential Training. My name's Julieanne Kost, and I have over 20 years experience working on the Photoshop and Camera Raw team at Adobe. As Photoshop has evolved, it's developed into three distinct applications: Adobe Bridge, which helps organize and manage our photographs, video, audio, and more, Adobe Camera Raw for image enhancement, automation, and the creative processing of photographs, and Adobe Photoshop for the ultimate in photo manipulation, compositing and retouching.
In this course, I'm excited to show you how to work with Camera Raw's rich feature set and its flexible non-destructive work environment to make tonal and color corrections, fix common problems, such as cropping and correcting perspective, and enhanced detail and contrast to make our images come alive. We'll explore creative techniques as well, such as using the radial filter, the adjustment brush, and graduated filter to create special effects, including localized color enhancements, custom black-and-white conversions, toning and cross-process effects.
After covering these tools, we'll see just how easy it is to create presets and automate our workflow. So let's get started.
Q: This course was updated on 06/21/2016. What changed?
A: We updated six tutorials to cover the June 2016 Camera Raw update, which includes a darker interface, new Transform tool, and Boundary Warp for panoramas. An overview of the changes is included in the "What's new?" video.
