Join Drew Falkman for an in-depth discussion in this video Laravel classes, part of MVC Frameworks for Building PHP Web Applications.
- Laravel has a whole library of classes…that you can use in your development.…Let's have a look at Laravel API…and see what's available for you.…I'm here at the API for Laravel that's posted online…and you can see at the top left you have the ability…to choose which particular version you're using.…You'll note that Laravel uses namespaces internally.…One of the great things about namespaces…is it really gives it an intuitive way…to breakdown where all these different classes…are coming from.…
So on the left side you'll see a list,…everything is in the main Illuminate package.…Under that you can see the categories…of all the different classes.…Now I don't know what particular app you're looking to build…so the types of classes your gonna look for…is really up to you.…But I can tell you there's a whole host of functionality…available here at your fingertips.…The whole Auth section allows you to do all kinds…of different authorizations to different types of databases…and handles all the logging in and security…for your web applications.…
