Installation of CakePHP on Windows

- [Voiceover] As discussed earlier CakePHP has a set of requirements, of PHP 5.5.9 or newer along with a few extensions, and we further require SQLite. There are a few ways to get PHP installed on your Windows machine. We will install PHP using the provided tooling through WampServer or the Windows Apache and MySQL server. We'll install PHP 5.5 on our machine. To do so, follow the steps for downloading and installing Wamp. First, we'll visit the URL at wampserver.com. Next, we'll go to the Download section, and we'll download and install the WampServer. Choose the version that matches your machine. We'll click on the download directly link. This file is going to ask us if we want to run or save it. In this case, we're going to run it. We're going to want to allow this program to make changes, and we're going to want to click Next through the Setup Wizard.
