What is a booking form?
- [Instructor] In this section of the course, we will be designing a flight booking service. At first glance, this may seem a bit niche especially when compared to a registration form or a checkout form. However, we're going to explore several complex problems that in the end will result in a reusable pattern. Patterns that are very much transferable to other problems, such as booking a movie ticket, a tour, a popular event, making an online appointment, or even booking a hotel room or booking a flight form is going to consist of many discreet steps. The first few steps simply collect the user's preference. Where to fly, when to fly and how many people are flying. Once we have that information, we can give the users a choice of available flights followed by choosing where to sit and finally users will need to enter their details and make a payment.
