Take advantage of the HTML5 geolocation feature by using the recently released Google Store Locator Utility Library, and include directions and feature filtering in your web apps.
- [Voiceover] Hi, I'm Joe Lowery, and I'm happy to welcome you to HTML5 Projects. The ability to pinpoint the user's location is essential to any GPS system and a major boon to websites and apps that have a brick and mortar component. There are a good number of ways to enable geolocation, and we're gonna use one of the most recent that integrates beautifully with the best in class application, Google Maps. Our focus will be on implementing the Google's store locator library for Maps with a static data file so pretty much anyone can use it.
When the project is done, you'll have a fully functional Google map including driving directions.
