Variation: Slant

- The registered font variation Axis Slant changes the angle or obliqueness of the letter form according to the value provided. This is a similar effect to what you get when you set a font to oblique. You are not italicizing the font, we'll look at that in the next movie, but literally slanting its degree at a different visual presentation. The normal, or upright slant value is typically zero, as in zero degrees. With allowed values, ranging anywhere from minus 90 degrees, to plus 90 degrees. And you can control the slant for variable fonts in two ways. Either set the font style property to oblique, and provide the slant value in degrees. So here you can see minus six degrees. Or, use the font variation settings property with the SLNT, or S-L-N-T keyword, and set the desired value. So minus six.
