- [Instructor] After you've collected your inventory and categorized them, the next step is to resolve any inconsistencies and create or update the designs. Then you're ready to start building the library. Though the library is a collection of the most current designs, that doesn't mean it has to be built after all the designs were approved. It's an ongoing process. Build out the patterns that are approved and add onto it as more patterns are added, updated, or changed. When putting together the documentation, you can begin by including your design principles or values to set the tone and purpose. Here's an example from a Buffer's style guide. In the introduction, they've included some information about why they built the guide and the methodology used. And this gives you a little insight into their thought process.
