Placing Adobe Edge animations inside reveal.js
As cool as Reveal.js is, there's one thing that's missing. Reveal.js lacks the ability to generate graphics and animations. Thankfully, because you can use any web technologies in your Reveal.js projects, you can bring in an animation from a program like Edge Animate. Edge Animate is part of Adobe's Creative Cloud, and it allows you to create animations based on modern web technologies. If you want to learn about creating animations with Edge Animate, make sure you check out Edge Animate Essential Training with Chris converse. Now, edge animations are nothing more than HTML documents with links to different libraries. So here I have a folder with Edge Animation. You can see different JavaScript files here, as well as an HTML document, some includes, as well as an images folder. Now there is a file right here with a .an extension, this is the glue that will open this file into Adobe Edge Animate. So, I'm going to open this up, and here's what the file looks like.
