- [Instructor] I'm working on a similar form from what we were looking at last time. I've just gone ahead and added a background image and changed the formatting and colors on a couple of the items. But for the most part, this is very similar to what we built earlier. What we'll be focusing on right now is the focus state. The focus state refers to the properties of the form field when the field has been clicked on and is actively being edited. The focus indicator is often signified by a focused ring. This identifies the currently focused element on your page. For users who are unable to use a mouse, this indicator is extremely important because it acts as a stand in for their mouse pointer. You can either click in fields to force them to have focus or if you use your tab key and not use the mouse, you will switch fields, and the one that you are clicked in or has focus is very important for a non-sighted user.…
