- Hi, I'm Chris Converse. And in this episode of Design the Web we'll explore techniques for styling HTML form elements with CSS. Each web browser has its own built in artwork and indicators for representing form fields. In this course, I'll demonstrate techniques that will allow you to take more control over the design of your forms while maintaining a consistent and predictable user experience across various web browsers. Now I'll be covering techniques for using custom artwork for check boxes and radio buttons. We'll be styling text fields and select menus.
And we'll even plan our design to use a consistent indication color which will provide your users with a visual feedback of all of the selections they've made. And finally, the exercise files for this course are available to all members. So download the files and let's start styling our form elements.
