Design the Web: Creating a Pull Quote with CSS

- Hi, I'm Chris Converse. And in this episode of Design the Web we'll take a standard block quote element in HTML and transform it into a attractive pull quote for your web page. Now to do this, we'll be using CSS and CSS pseudo elements to add more visual appeal to quotes that you want to call attention to in your page. Without adding any additional HTML markup. And as an optional feature, we'll also be adding in a citation to our block quote, as well, using the cite element so that you can attribute the quote to someone. And finally, the exercise files for this course are available to all members.
