Join Joseph Lowery for an in-depth discussion in this video Course and browser requirements, part of HTML5 Projects: Creating Surveys.
To follow along with this course, the requirements are pretty straightforward. From a tools perspective, you'll just need a code editor and a number of browsers for testing. You can use whichever code editor you prefer. I'm going to be working with Aptana on the Mac. That's a free editor for both Mac and Windows. Most of our browser demonstrations will be done using pretty current versions of standard base browsers like Firefox. As a focus in this course is on some of the more recently released technologies, you probably shouldn't depend on the techniques demonstrated if your client needs to support legacy browsers like Internet Explorer 6. Well, that's it for tools.
