Join Chris Converse for an in-depth discussion in this video About the exercise files, part of Design the Web: Creating a Pull Quote with CSS.
- The exercise files for this course consist of an HTML file, a CSS file, and an images directory. Now, the HTML file has some basic markup in it, including a block quote element. And the CSS file has all of the necessary rules in place to create this layout. Now, the images directory includes two graphics, a banner and a photo. The banner is already being referenced with the CSS file. However, we'll be referencing the photo later on in the course with the CSS pseudo-element in order to add a visual to the attribution of the quote.
So once you've downloaded all of your files, let's continue on and begin creating our pull quote.
