Join Joseph Lowery for an in-depth discussion in this video About the exercise files, part of Customizing Photo Cards with HTML5.
I'm very happy to announce that any member of the lynda.com Online Training Library, whether premium, monthly, or annual has access to the Exercise Files used throughout this title. Naturally, the information in this course is ultimately intended to be applied to your own web pages. However, you might find it helpful to work with the supplied Exercise Files to practice the steps safely and without creating your own examples. To begin using the files from the site, download them, extract them, and then store those files in a convenient location, such as your Desktop.
The Exercise Files folder is organized by chapter. And chapters are broken down into the various lessons that you'll see. Within the lesson chapters, there are a series of files, typically HTML, CSS, Images, and so forth that make up the practice file. For most lessons, you'll also find a folder named final. And that contains files showing the completed lesson, which you can open up and explore at your leisure. You're free to either follow the whole course, chapter by chapter, or jump in at any point.
If you'd rather not use the Exercise Files, you can definitely follow along with your own assets.
