What you should know

- This is an intermediate to advanced course that focuses on a more technical solution for simulations and rendering using X-Particles and Red Shift renderer for Cinema 4D. You will need to have a working knowledge of Cinema 4D and X-Particles. If you don't feel like you're quite there yet, I suggest checking out Andy Needham's courses on LinkedIn called Learning Cinema 4D R21 and X-Particles 4 for Cinema 4D Essential Training. For this course, I will be using Cinema 4D version R21.022, and X-Particles 4, build 7.32. For the rendering sections, you will need access to Red Shift version 2.6 or newer. I will be using version 3.0.11 which is a beta version but all of the same steps will still apply to 2.6.42 or later. While I will be covering some basic work flows for Red Shift, it will be easier to follow along if you're already familiar with renderer. If at any point you have questions or seem to be in a tough spot, feel free to reach out to me on LinkedIn and we'll work through it together.
