Welcome
- [Andy] Hi, my name's Andy Needham, and welcome to this course where we'll be learning about Visual Effects techniques in Cinema 4D and how you can use the tools and methods taught here in your Visual Effects workflow. I'll start by giving you some core concepts of working with Cinema 4D so you're set up for success. From there, we discuss the importance of motion tracking and how to track and solve a shot using the Motion Tracker. We learn how to export that data and how to remove lens distortion. We work with importing models and how to optimize them with the new Polygon Reduction and Level of Detail objects. We also explore how to create basic animation. Then we cover creating different types of materials and methods of lighting 3D shots. I'll show you how to use the Camera Calibration Tag and we harness the versatile Take system and render tokens to streamline our workflow, and finally, composite multipass renders. So if you're ready, let's get started.
