Using the exercise files

- [Tutor] If you have access to the exercise files for this course, you'll notice that they come in three parts. That's because it would be quite a lot to download all in one go. What that means is you can't just use the native applications on your system to extract the zip files. They just won't work. So my recommendation is to use an alternative third-party application. On Mac you have The Unarchiver, and this is a free download, which you can get from either their website or the Mac App Store. On the Window's store, The Unarchiver is also available, and it is free. Alternatively, you could try Keka. This is a program I quite like, and it is also free available from their website or on the Mac App Store. Windows users also have the option of using 7-Zip. This is another free utility, which you can download from this website. Once you've downloaded and installed your unarchiving application of choice, and you've downloaded all the parts of the exercise files and saved them on a location on your computer, you can now extract them. I've downloaded mine to the desktop. What I'm going to do is select the first zip file and then right click and choose Open With, and this could be The Unarchiver or Keka. Let's use The Unarchiver for now. So I'll click to extract and it will extract all the files. It's really important that you only do the first zip file, The Unarchiver will take care of the rest. Once the files have been extracted, you'll see a folder on your desktop called Exercise Files. If you open that up, just come into a folder and open up the file name that you see on screen. That way you can follow along with me with the exact same files that I'm using.
