Tour of the Live Viewer interface

- [Narrator] The live viewer is the heart of Octane. It's where you see your rendered image and get fast visual feedback as you create and make changes. We've briefly touched on it in the previous chapter with the quick-start project. And in this chapter, we're going to dive deeper into the live viewer and its functions. We can find the live viewer by coming over to the Octane menu and just choosing the live viewer window option. If we just grab this little gripper icon here and then just dock it in our interface, now we've got the live viewer in our layout. At the top of the live viewer window are the controls for the Octane dialog. And we have various menus where you can easily access Octane objects such as the camera, and create lights, and also create materials. In this layout, because I'm short on space, there's actually a little button here, and once you click that, you can see some more options. And we'll get into these in a later movie.
