Sketching the rough form from a cube

- With our sketch in hand, we will now build the polygonal base model that will serve as the digital clay for our sculpting sessions. The important things to remember are that the base models should reflect all of the significant extrusions that we want in the final design. It should be made up entirely of four sided polygons, and those polygons should be as square and uniform as possible. We will start by creating a simple cube primitive object. As you can see, I've preloaded the sketch we did in the previous video into the viewport. Let's go into our select tool, and then we're just gonna scale the primitive out so it roughly matches the length of the ship, and I'm also gonna scale it in X and Y so that it roughly matches the height of the fuselage of the ship. Let's go into perspective mode for a moment. When we create the cube, it's still editable, So, I'm gonna add one X subdivision to this to give it a total of two.
