Rendering C4D splines with the XP material

- [Instructor] Splines are typically guides that don't render unless you use an effect such as Sketch and Tune. Something really cool about the x particle's material is the ability to render Cinema 4D Splines. So, let's take a look at an example. So, we've got this spline, already drawn out, and we'd like to use the x particle's material to turn it into something that looks a bit like 3D stroke. You know that plug-in you used to use in After Effects? I used to love that, anyway, and actually I still so. I'm going to create a new x particle's material. And, I'm going to assign it to this spline. Now, let's just render. Okay, so we've got the spline rendering, which is great. And, now we need to open up the material, in the material editor, and we'll increase the size by quite a bit. Now, we've got this nice thick stroke, here. All we want to do is taper it off towards the end. So, let's just come back here and look at the spline. So, this is where the thick end would be, and this is…
