Procedurally model a banana

- [Instructor] We're going to expand our modeling knowledge with an exercise designed to get you thinking in steps, we will model a banana procedurally using a parametric primitive cylinder and deformers. That's great. The cylinder will come over to our perimeters menu and we'll add it to the scene. I'm going to come over to the object properties and make some changes and to reduce the radius and increase the height. For the rotation segments, I want to reduce this by half I'm making the cylinder low resolution on purpose and by low resolution, I mean a low polygon count, but I want to increase the height segments because this cylinder is going to be bent later. So we'll put in 10 and that should give us what we need. By working with the least amount of polygons possible, we keep the modeling operations light and manageable. This will also work to our advantage when we UV unwrap the banana. More on that in a later movie,…
