Preparing the target model

Now that we've extracted our Retopo target model, there's one thing we need to do beforehand, just to make the process endurable. And that would be to add a CINEMA 4D Tags, that's a right click menu. If you go down to Display tag, we're gonna add a Display tag, and if you click on the Tag, go to the Tag properties, and the first checkbox here is Use Shading Mode, so I wanna hit Use Shading Mode, and I'm gonna set that to Quick Shading and style, yeah that's fine, the second one. That's all I'm gonna do in that dialogue box. The next thing I'm gonna do is go click on the model again and go to its Basic tab in the attributes manager and turn on X Ray. That's gonna allow us to see what we're modeling on top of it, without the model itself obscuring our mesh so much. The purpose of adding the Display tag, on the other hand, was we're gonna, at times, want to go into Display mode with wire so we can see the wire frame of what we're doing.
