- [Narrator] One of the most useful and interactive ways of adding detailed art-directable fractures is by painting Hair Guides onto the source objects. And I first learned of this technique when watching Derya Öztürk presentation for Maxon at Siggraph in 2016. And you can check out Derya's website at http://yader.de and yader is his online handle if you wanted to find him anywhere else on the internet. So let's see how this works. With our bridge model selected we'll come over to the MoGraph menu and hold down Alt and create a Voronoi Fracture object. Now let's just come into the Sources tab, and disable the Point Generator for now. Next I want to select the bridge, come over to the Simulate menu and in the Hair Objects I'm going to add hair. When you add hair Cinema 4D automatically creates a hair material and adds the hair render effect to the Render setting, so you can either disable or just delete these.
