Overview of dynamics and constraints
- [Instructor] The dynamics objects in X-Particles are both complex and powerful. And they would be beyond the scope of this course to delve too deeply into them. That being said, we will look at a lot of the new dynamics objects added to X-Particles 4. Let's first touch on Constraints, which isn't a new feature, but using constraints is kind of important to grasp. So you can use constraints to to restrict a particle movement, and we're going to have a look at what we can do with this scene. So we have some particles just generating, emitting, and bouncing off this disk that we have. So let's just have a look at the constraint, and I'm just going to pull this off, and make the icon a lot larger. So focusing on this object here, and as the icon suggests, constraints is like a tiny spring between particles. The spring can draw particles together, and forces can stretch or even break that spring. So let's Add a Constraint's object, and we'll Close this down. Put it inside our Dynamics…
