Importing VDBs to Redshift

- [Instructor] Redshift handles VDBs natively using the Redshift volume object. Once you get a handle on importing and using them correctly, you'll be able to create beautiful volume renders in short order. Let's go ahead and jump in and take a look at the Redshift volume object and how we can import our Explosia FX VDB for use in rendering. First thing I'm going to do is disable my Explosia FX and my emitter, and I'm going to go ahead and collapse down my X-Particles system because I don't need to see it right now. Going to go and add a Redshift Object, Redshift Volume. And in this volume, I want to go ahead and point the path section to my VDB. Just going to click this open. Come down to my cache disk and find my most recent cache file. Now I'm not going to add this to the project path because I want to make sure that my Redshift volume object sees all of my VDB files.
