Extending the neck into a torso shape

We're going to now create the torso with the mesh that we've created for the head. We're going to do that with a simple set of extrudes. And then we're going to use the knife tool and the extrude tool again, to add more cross sections to our geometry so we've got enough detail to work with when we create our legs and our arms. So, the first thing we'll do is select our head and rotate underneath to select our poly set. Let's go to polygon mode, grab our live selection tool, and with it set to only select visible elements, let's select these bottom polygons. We're going to right click and select extrude. We'll click and drag to make a small extrusion. And then in our front view, let's go ahead and pull that all the way down to the groin area. And let's look at it to see what we've got to work with. So, I can tell right now I'm going to have a little bit of an issue. Because we are so focused on keeping a low polygon model, it's going to, sort of, bite us right now. I want these central…
