Employing knife cuts to shape the model

- We have our cube in a symmetry object, and what we need to do now is add geometry to it so that we can make it closer to the base form of our model that we are going to take into sculpting. Ultimately, we want it to look like this model, which has been prepared for that purpose. I'm going to hide that now. You can use this as you move into the next section if you want, or you can sort of follow the steps that we're going to take with this cube to achieve the same design. So let me hide the base mesh. Go back to our cube, and show you how we got there. I'm going to come into the side view port with our sketch loaded, and let's go into Edge mode, and what we're going to do, is use the Knife tool to make vertical cuts first in the mesh, anywhere we see that we're going to need points to drag down to sort of match the profile of the drawing.
