In this course, Donovan Keith shows how to take a client's reference images and re-create a product in 3D—reducing the need for expensive photography services and creating assets that can be used more flexibly in print or broadcast ads. These particular tutorials feature a sport beverage bottle, but the lessons can apply to almost any product. Learn how to model complicated forms with spline and polygonal modeling tools, accurately texture your models, and place your product against a black backdrop in a high-contrast lighting environment.

Welcome

- [Voiceover] Hi, I'm Donovan Keith, and welcome to Digital Product Photography with CINEMA 4D. Starting with some reference images provided to us by a client, we're going to recreate a sports beverage bottle in CINEMA 4D, and then create advertisement-ready images of the product. In this course, we'll look at modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering products in CINEMA 4D. I'll start by showing you how to model the complicated forms of a bottle by using spline and polygon modeling tools. Then, we'll adjust material properties to create an accurate reproduction of our reference images.

You'll see you to create high-contrast lighting on a black backdrop with the help of the compositing tag. This course will teach you many of the tools and skills you'll need to create your own realistic product renderings for print and video advertising. We'll be covering all these features, plus plenty of other tools and techniques. Now, let's get started with Digital Product Photography with CINEMA 4D.
