- In this short movie,…we're going to take a look at…ways of restricting materials…and how they are applied to objects.…And we're going to do that with polygons selection tags.…Now, if you've been following along…from the beginning of the course,…you may remember early on…when we looked at extrude nurbs…and how we can type in commands like R1…or C1 to limit materials…to rounding or caps of extrude nurbs.…This is a similar function…but we're more in the driver's seat…because we are actually selecting…the polygon selections.…
So, let's take a look at what that means.…We have a simple shape here.…And what we're going to do is we're go into Polygon mode,…and we're going to start selecting…just some random polygons here, all right.…This is totally up to you.…You can just kind of pick whatever you'd like here.…So I'm just going to pick four, five…however how many I have.…And then we'll go to Select,…Set Selection.…Now, when that happens…we get this little orange triangle over here.…
