Creating and applying materials

- [Instructor] As we know, when you create materials, you're going to do so in the material manager. And that's typically found at the bottom of the standard layout or the startup layout. Now, if your layout looks different to mine, just come over to here and just choose the standard layout. And it should look exactly like this. So, we know how to create materials and what we want to do now is apply them to objects in the scene. So, we're going to just that using a few methods. First, let's create a material. So, I'm just going to create a new material. And the first method... In fact, if we just give it a bit of color, just to make it a bit more interesting. And the first method is just to drag and drop onto an object in the interface. And you can see, the icon changes here. When I let go, a texture tag is created on the object. And the material that we've just created is referenced in the tag properties. So, the next method is we can drag and drop onto a object. So, we can just drag…
