Create and apply materials
- [Instructor] When you create materials, you're going to do so in the material manager. Now typically, the material manager is found in the bottom of the standard layout here. And so we can explore the material manager, first let's look at how we can create some materials. So we can do that by coming to the create menu here, and choosing new material, use the shortcut CMD + N, or my favorite method is just to double click in the material manager. So we've created just two materials there. Let's open up one of them. We'll double click and you get the material editor, by default you got the color channel, and the reflectors on, let's just work with the color channel for now. I'm going to increase the value to 90, and we have other options we've got RGB, can work in Kelvins, some other sliders hex decimal is very useful.
