Cinema 4D for motion graphics artists

- [Instructor] Hi, my name is Andy Needham, and welcome to this Cinema 4D S22 Essential Training Course. Cinema 4D is a hugely popular software application developed by Maxon. And in this course, we're going to focus on how Cinema 4D is used by motion graphics artists. We're going to spend some time getting comfortable with mograph, beginning with the fundamentals of creating and modifying clones before moving on to animating in Cinema 4D, and learning techniques for retiming and speed ramping animations. In this course, we'll create simple 3D models from splines and I share how to bring Adobe Illustrator files into C 4D to perform the common task of visualizing a logo in 3D. I'll cover the basics of animating cameras with a simple rig to the tool to use for making complex camera moves abreeze. In addition to working with materials and various methods for lighting a scene, I share several useful techniques for getting work rendered out of Cinema 4D in the form of previews and multipass renders for further work in post. Combining fields, mograph, dynamics and field forces can produce some stunning motion graphics and I will demonstrate how to add direct particles and the principles of using field forces which expand the playground that is, the C 4D Dynamic System. The creative possibilities of working in 3D are virtually limitless. And I'm really looking forward to sharing with you how working in Cinema 4D is both fun and intuitive. So if you're ready, let's begin.
