my name's Chris Corn I work at Fuse Animation, downtown Minneapolis. I'm lead animation and visual effects supervisor/character artist. I've been sculpting since as long as I can remember. I had play dough when I was a little kid, so that was probably the first medium, silly putty. It just kind of snowballed from there. Being an artist, I have to get these things out of my head. There's almost no choice in the matter, you visualize something in your head and you, you want to see it fleshed out, there's a drive to it. The differences between digital and traditional, or clay, like, the choices for picking either one is more about speed. If I'm just exploring ideas or playing with forms, or just trying to come up with some cool concept or design, I'll go digital, because I'm able to do a bunch of that in a short amount of time, and make iterations.
