- [Instructor] Whenever you're working with 3D geometry there'll come a certain point where you'll want to be able to apply graphics to that geometry, and in this exercise we're going to apply a graphic that was made in Illustrator in Photoshop, a flat graphic, to the bottom of this snowboard. So before we do that I want to go ahead and make sure I like the geometry of the snowboard. And if I zoom in here you can see I've got no caps, the edging is just a harsh edge, and if I go to render this, I can actually see some of the geometry being a little too geometric here. So the first thing I'll do is select my extrude object, which is named snowboard, and I'll go to the cap section, and even though I have a beveled shape set to round, I need to set the size of that bevel to about 1.5, and that's going to round the edge there, but it's also going to give me a little error.
