By using the camera object in CINEMA 4D you can compose your product visualization shots. In this video, learn how to add cameras and best practices for when starting a new scene.
- [Instructor] When working with cameras in Cinema 4D,…we need to be aware of our current Render Settings…as these will have an effect on the camera properties…such as aspect ratio and field of view.…Now we know how to get to our Render Settings from…previous movies so we can come up to here…and press this button.…And the default in R18 is 1280 by 720.…So by changing these values here, we'll be changing…the film aspect and that has a direct link to…the camera properties.…
So in previous versions, the default would be 800 by 600…and you can see now the film aspect has changed to…a 4:3 standard aspect ratio.…So I'm just going to resize this a bit…so we can move it around and you can see…that we have these borders, they're sort of tinted borders…on the edges of our viewport here.…If I press Shift V and go into the view settings,…I'm going to close the Render Settings just while…we do this, you can see the tinted border is at…just a lower opacity.…
If we bring this up to say 90, now you get a better sense…of the framing of this shot.…
