Creating the top and bottom slabs

- [Narrator] Now we're going to go ahead and create the initial primary slabs for the top and bottom of this armrest. This is scanned data that's been broken up and normally when you get your scan data, it's going to be in one giant scan but here we've broken it up for you. So you can go in and more easily create the slabs that are necessary. So we want to make sure our slabs geometrical set is our in work object, which it is, it's underlined and I'm going to sight down the Z axis. Once I sight down the Z axis you'll see the X-Y is my privilege plane. So when I draw anything, it's going to go right to that X-Y plane, and I'm going to create a planar patch. Two diagonal points, you'll notice that I've created it much larger than the initial scan that I'm going to match up to. Once I have that, I'm going to create a distance analysis between this planar patch and my top scan data. You'll notice it's 540 millimeters away…
