- [Instructor] So with a little bit of background as to what Agile within the context of a new product development might look like, let's take a step back and talk a little bit about the mechanics of Agile. This is meant to be a refresher, for those that are familiar with the Agile project management methodology and not an introduction to Agile in and of itself. But if we begin talking about Agile, one of the core tenants of Agile is that it contains small teams or it fosters small teams working in short cycles. In the new product development process, that should be very well aligned to the stages and gates and iterations that happen inside the stages. Particularly when we use modern tools that allow us to do as hoc project reviews and ad hoc design reviews, even for stake holders that are not located together. We want to focus on deliverables and not on documentation again, from a new product development stand point what we want to do is insure that we're capturing the requirements…
