- [Instructor] Let's continue. Working software is the primary measure of progress. If we take out working software and put in working products, or reasonable prototypes, or valuable prototypes, again, we make a lot of sense from the Agile manifesto. Agile processes promote sustainable development. Yes, sustainable development. One of the things that manufacturers have done, one of the tactics that they've used, is of course to embrace lean technologies and lean methodologies, particularly in manufacturing. And an area of lean that is particularly relevant for my customers as a practicing professional working through problems with them is the concept of five s, where they want to sort, and straighten, and maintain their intellectual property. What we find from a new product development process standpoint is that the more intellectual property you can maintain, the more you can reuse, the better off you are, and that's a sustainability tactic that can be applied anywhere in the new…
