What types of software are used in construction?

(upbeat motivating music) - When you think of construction, you inevitably think of blueprints. All the construction drawings, look at all these paper drawings, all the plans that it takes to build a big commercial building project. Now, it's really hard to keep track of all these paper drawings. (uplifting music) For example, look here in the structural drawings. Look at all the revisions on this plan sheet. And we've got revisions on this plan sheet, but not necessarily the same ones. It's a big job for a construction manager to keep track of all these paper drawings. But these days, we've got a better way. This project uses a software program called Procore to manage all of their construction drawings and even a lot of the construction processes, like change orders and requests for information.
