- Most of this course assumes some basic familiarity with 3D printing as workflow. - You may have experience with filament-based printers already. If so, you'll see that the resin in filament design strategies are quite different, and we'll point out these differences as we go. - There are also post processing steps that are not routine for filament prints and will make the implications of this different workflow clear. - If you're trying to decide whether a resin printer's a good investment for your company, this course is for you. Resin printers have fewer settings to tweak than filament ones, so it's important to be sure that the printer you buy supports the resins you require for your applications. - This course is geared towards the intermediate or experienced 3D printer user. However, we'll provide enough explanation for a beginner to get started and prove their understanding of the manufacturer's standard settings. - [Rich] If you have access to the exercise files for this course, You can download them from the main course page. You should also be able to recreate something similar in the CAD software of your choice. - This course will give you a general appreciation for the end to the end process of designing and printing using resin.
