- Hello, and welcome to Virtual Reality Foundations. My name is Craig Barr, and I'm a 3D artist and educator. I've been involved in the animation, VFX, and game industries for nearly 20 years. I work in virtual reality development for a variety of industries. In this course we'll examine what virtual reality is, where VR has come from, VR in entertainment, how VR is being used for a variety of different applications in many industries. We'll look at how VR development is growing by leaps and bounds, and we'll also examine how VR is revolutionizing the design world.
