- [Instructor] Green Building Studio is now part of the Autodesk Insight Suite. There are three different Insight programs: there is Insight Energy Analysis, Insight Lighting Analysis for Revit, and, of course, Insight Green Building Studio. This course focuses solely on the functions of the Green Building Studio platform. It makes sense that the BIM workflow has an energy analysis module. Green Building Studio, a.k.a GBS, was first created with Autodesk in conjunction with IBM to give us our first real energy analysis application, that can read true building information from a BIM model. Hi, I'm Eric wing, and I have over 20 years experience in the engineering, architectural and training industries. In this LinkedIn learning course, I'll show you how to get a model from Revit into Green Building Studio. Pressed for time? Don't worry, each video is kept to a reasonable length, drills immediately into the specifics, and as precise and as succinct as possible. In this course, we will examine the energy settings within Revit, and discuss how your model should be prepared. Then we'll look at how to export our model geometry, room data and energy information to gbXML. That stands for Green Building Extensible Markup Language.
