- [Instructor] Generally Revit will tag your beams automatically, sometimes however, we need to manually tag them ourselves. What this video illustrates is how to manually tag a beam. We'll configure the beam system annotation dialogue to do so. in Revit I'm going to jump into structural 23. Let's go to our roof level. Let's pick a window around the entire model. Let's go to filter. Let's click, check none, and I only want to grab structural framing girder. Then hit okay. Now let's go to the annotate tab. And let's click on the beam annotations. So all selected beams in current plan view will be selected. Let's click remove existing beam tags and spot elevations. Level beams in plan, so let's click on the browse button here. I want to have a spot elevation, let's do beam elevation relative for the type. Current level is good, actual selection. Do not place value when it is equal to zero. Click okay, let's do the same…
