- Typically when you start a VDC coordination effort, there are few documents that you need to pass along to trade partners or design team that establishes the ground rules for the project. These documents include an internal assessment document that will help your team understand the level of effort and technology required to meet the goals of the project. For example, will the project require a 4D simulation? Will the project require a quantum computer to process the model? Or if there will be a person that will be on site that will require special software or hardware to be successful? This can be done through a simple questionnaire that is emailed to the Project Manager or Design Lead. The next document will potentially be a standard model release for the model and its related content, which is shared between the design team and the contractor.
