- Hi, I'm Mark De Vinck and welcome to Soldering for Electronic Products and Manufacturing. In this video series, I will teach you everything you need to know about soldering through-hole components, like these LEDs on a PCB, all the way to the basics of hand soldering surface mount components. Where you go from there is really up to you. You could build your own kits, you could build your own music devices, play with drones, and even do some small scale manufacturing. Learning to solder is a really good skill to have. Not only can you repair things around the house, like say wiring for your trailer, but you can now customize and develop your own product or internet of things with Arduino. As soon as you learn how to solder, you can now customize it with sensors or really anything you can imagine. So, it's a great skill to have and I'll walk you through all the steps. It's not very hard, but there are a lot of little tips and tricks that I'll teach you along the way. So let's get started.
